We at GHAVFD want to get the community of Glen Haven more involved with the fire department.  This forum is just another way to communicate with the community.

The members of your sister brigade in Glenhaven Australia were very sorry to hear about the tragic death of your worthy member Lt. Greg Martin. Greg visited Australia last year, and whilst we were unable to arrange a meeting, he spoke to our Captain Phillip Bradac and posted out some patches and memorabilia, that now hold pride of place in our fire station.


Greg's visit marked the start of the relationship between our two brigades, a relationship that we hope will last long into the future.


We would like to pass on our condolences to your fire department and Greg's family.
