Friday, Feb. 22nd the Auxiliary held their 2nd Annual Chili Dinner and Texas Hold-Em night at Town Hall.  Local cooks brought out at least 6 different versions of delicious chili and as many variations of cornbread, peppers, hot sauce, drinks and a host of scrumptous deserts.  WOW!  What a feed!  The community showed up in force, lots of folks won some great prizes in the raffle and then we got down to the serious business of Poker.  Thanks go out to the Auxiliary and the host of sponsors they got for the event.  Thanks also to Chief Dave Jiles and Ass't. Chief Bill Lundquist of Big T Fire for coming up and supporting us.

The surprise poker player of the evening turned out to be 14 year old Dylan Childs who played an outstanding tournament against local poker legends Greg Martin, Gene McFadden, Ruth Thomas, Sonja McTeague and others.  Dylan lost the final last-player-standing play off to Anna Bauming in a nail-biter match.  Whew, the Old Man about had a fit!
