MISSION STATEMENT
Our brave Glen Haven Area Volunteer Firefighters put their hearts and souls into protecting and serving this community. Our gift to them is to be a strong support group, assist whenever possible and provide anything within our power to help them protect our community. Toward this goal the Glen Haven Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will respond to assist with food, water and other supplies such as tables and chairs during fires or other situations that require our fire personnel to be on the scene for an extended period of time. Additionally, the Auxiliary will hold fundraising activities throughout the year. The profits from our fundraising activities will go solely to support the GHAVFD to purchase needed equipment and supplies.
EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLY DRIVE
The Glen Have Fire Department Auxiliary is looking for donated items that you may have in your house, garage and storage units. We are stocking a support/canteen type vehicle for use when an incident takes our fire personnel to a scene longer than 6-8 hours. We need a way of getting food, water and supplies to them. Below is a list of items you may have in your home, taking up space. If you would like to donate any of the items, please contact Anna Bauming at 577-0885 or email at abauming@msn.com. We will arrange for pick-up. Also if you know anyone who is willing to donate a van that can be used as a support vehicle, please contact me. All items need to be in clean good condition and working order.

Your help is greatly appreciated. Our fire personnel donate their time and risk their lives to keep our community safe. Let’s help them help us.

COOKBOOK SALE
The new 2008 Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary Cookbook is now on sale for $12.00. If you would like to look at the cookbook, visit the Glen Haven General Store where they are on display. All of the photos used in the cookbook are old photographs dating back to the early 1900's. The cookbooks can be purchased at the General Store or contact Anna Bauming at (970) 577-0885. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Fire Department.
